Gloden Globe 2022: Squid Game Dapat Tiga Nominasi
Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) pada Senin (13/12/2021) waktu setempat telah mengumumkan daftar nominasi untuk ajang penghargaan Golden Globe ke-79. Drama Korea “Squid Game” mendapat tiga nominasi Golden Globe 2022.
Golden Globes adalah salah satu acara penghargaan utama yang mengarah ke Academy Awards, di mana penghargaan diberikan untuk televisi dan film. Acara tahunan ini dijadwalkan akan digelar pada 9 Januari 2022.
Serial Netflix asal Korea Selatan, “Squid Game” meraih tiga nominasi, yaitu untuk kategori Best Television Series – Drama, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama, dan Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Supporting Role.
Lee Jung Jae dinominasikan untuk Penampilan Aktor Terbaik dalam Serial Televisi, yang berhadapan dengan
Brian Cox dan Jeremy Strong dalam “Succession”, Billy Porter dalam “Pose”, dan Omar Sy dalam “Lupin”.
Selain itu, O Yeong Su (Oh Young Soo) dinominasikan untuk Aktor Pendukung Terbaik Televisi bersama Billy Crudup dan Mark Duplass dalam “The Morning Show”, Kieran Culkin dalam “Succession” dan Brett Goldstein dalam “Ted Lasso”.
Acara televisi seperti “Hacks” dan “Only Murders in the Building” juga masuk ke dalam jajaran nominasi. Selain itu, ada pula film “Dune” dan “Belfast”.
Sedangkan untuk aktor yang termasuk ke dalam daftar nominasi di antaranya Emma Stone dari “Cruella”, Lady Gaga dari “House of Gucci”, Leonardo DiCaprio dari “Don’t Look Up”, hingga Lee Jung-jae dan O Yeong-su dari “Squid Game”.
